Previously referred to as a record, a row is a is collection of columns referring to the same person, item, or object in a table.

If you consider the Contacts table in Microsoft Dataverse, it consists of many columns that help to identify and define a contact. By adding information such as a contact’s first name, surname, telephone number, email address etc., this helps to complete the data for a single row in the table.
